United Way of Southern Chautauqua County Campaign Team Members

United Way of Southern Chautauqua County is in its final stretch to reach their $1.33 million goal and is calling upon the community to consider making a donation this year.  United Way of Southern Chautauqua County has reached 80% of their current goal.

“Change Doesn’t Happen Alone”, said Amy Rohler, Executive Director, “and we have an incredible support system from all different sectors that have teamed up to fight for our community needs. There has been some substantial and unexpected challenges this year in our fundraising efforts but we are confident that our community will come together to help us reach out goal.” Rohler added, “when you give to United Way of Southern Chautauqua County, it’s not just a charitable gift, you are investing in the future of our community.”

One hundred percent of your donation stays locally in Southern Chautauqua County. For a quick and convenient way to donate visit the UWSCC website at www.uwayscc.org, or mail your check, made payable to United Way of Southern Chautauqua County to 208 Pine Street, Jamestown, NY 14701.

Another effective way to donate is to make an IRA Charitable Rollover gift. Year-end financial planning with your IRA administrator can potentially reduce your taxable income, and your IRA administrator must make the transfer directly to United Way. If you have any questions about this, contact Sally Basheer, United Way of Southern Chautauqua County’s Director of Finance.

“Stay connected with us,” Cynde Johnson, Marketing and Resource Development Coordinator encourages – “we have email, social media sites to include Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and we now have a text club, text “united” to 888111 to join (msg and data rates may apply).  We have a lot of great things going on, and what we hear so many times is that people don’t realize the incredible work we do here at United Way. There are just so many stories!”
