Helping Together - the United Way

One of the best measures of the strength of our community is how we care for one another. United Way puts this practice to work every day by creating safe neighborhoods for children, keeping seniors in their own homes, providing for the basic needs of families, maintaining daycare and after school care for children, and matching teens with adult mentors.

Through the United Way our friends, neighbors, and families have access to programs which build self-reliance among adults, foster positive youth development, and help to provide care and hope for those who need it the most.

This year, United Way contributions are providing more than $1-million to care for people right here in Southern Chautauqua County.
