United Way of Southern Chautauqua County is pleased to announce Cynde Johnson, as its new Resource Development and Marketing Coordinator.

“We are thrilled to announce that Cynde has joined our team here at the United Way,” says Amy Rohler, Executive Director.

“We look forward to making more things possible and building a stronger community with her expertise and experience.”

Cynde previously held the role of Director of Marketing and Business Development at the Chautauqua Mall and has a passion for connecting the community.

“I am honored and excited for this opportunity and look forward to continuing the mission of hope here in our community with the United Way,” says Cynde,

“There is so much that is invested in our people of the community, and continuing with the positive synergy that uplifts our city and rural surroundings, it’s going to be incredible here.”

Cynde was born and raised in Chautauqua County.  Graduated from Southwestern High School and Jamestown Business College, she is very familiar with the market.

She has also resided in Topeka, KS and Cleveland, OH and enjoys traveling the country with her family.

United Way of Southern Chautauqua County provides funding to 26 community partners to support 39 local programs.

Funding is generated during an annual campaign that engages individuals, companies and foundations in charitable donations.

Funding decisions are focused in four key areas: families are self-sufficient, everyone is ready to work, young people succeed in school, and those in need can find help.
