United Way of Southern Chautauqua County is pleased to announce the hiring of Eric Rinaldo as its new Community Impact Manager.
“We are thrilled that Eric has joined our team here at United Way,” said Amy Rohler, UWSCC Executive Director. “His leadership experience and technical expertise make him an excellent fit for this position. As Community Impact Manager, he will address key priorities for our organization and partner agencies, as well as drive collective community outcomes.”
Each year, United Way of Southern Chautauqua County invests in the community by distributing funds to 29 local agencies which facilitate 42 programs. The Community Impact Manager provides administrative oversight of those funds as well as the allocations process which determines how donor dollars are distributed each funding cycle.
As Community Impact Manager, Rinalado will engage with United Way’s community partners, volunteers, key stakeholders and others invested in the process and work of making Southern Chautauqua County a place where everyone can live and thrive.
When asked about his new role, Rinaldo said, “I am very excited to help foster the important work being done by the team at United Way. I look forward to learning about and helping advance the missions of the many groups which it funds, as well as working to uplift and create a positive impact in our community.
Rinaldo joins United Way of Southern Chautauqua County with nonprofit experience, having worked for five years in Colorado at the John McConnell Math and Science Center. During that time, he collaborated with district leaders to curate and create detailed curriculum for students, wrote grants and worked training college intern teachers each year. He joins United Way having recently put his data analysis skills and leadership abilities to use in retail as a team leader at both Target and Wegmans.
Rinaldo is originally from Jamestown and graduated from Southwestern. He now makes Bemus Point his home here in Southern Chautauqua County.
