GIVE BIG CHQ
Give Big CHQ is an impactful way to support deserving nonprofits in Chautauqua County!
As many of our community partners also participate in Give Big CHQ, we view our role in this day-long surge of local, charitable giving as a sort of megaphone for them — supporting their efforts while also collecting for babies in need!
All donations we collect during Give Big CHQ go to the Community Baby Shower!
At United Way of Southern Chautauqua County, we contribute to 42 community-based programs administered by 29 local agencies with the dollars generated from our annual fundraising campaign.
Donations made to United Way during our Campaign go to fund these same great nonprofits which you can support directly during Give Big CHQ!
This year we invested $1,348,753 in those 42 programs administered by our Community Partners! 100% stays local, and the collective impact of your donation is exponential!
The distribution of funds each year is decided by volunteers from a variety of sectors — business, human resources, financial, industrial & public service. Our resources are dedicated to achieving measurable results in four key areas identified by the community:

•Work Readiness
•Self-Sufficency
This year we were able to help facilitate 23,380 positive impacts in the community with the funds generated from 2,579 donors.
