Jane Cleaver Becker, a Lakewood resident, is president of Executive Coach & Consultant, providing business consulting and executive coaching services to individuals in for-profit and non-profit organizations. She served as director of strategic planning for Team VP in Chautauqua from 2003 to 2012. She served as executive director for the Lenna Foundation in Lakewood, the Private Industry Council of Chautauqua Inc., in Chautauqua, and the St. Joseph County Job Training Program in South Bend, Ind. She has also served as the president of Libera in Jamestown. She has also served as a trustee for the Dibert Foundation in Jamestown, is a founding member and chair for the Coalition of Chautauqua County Women and Girls; a jury panelist for the National Women’s Hall of Fame; vice president of the board of directors for the Ophelia Project in Erie, was strategic planning consultant to the board of directors of the Chautauqua County Humane Society, chair of the Economic Development Committee Lakewood Community Development Corporation; founding board member and former chairperson for the Research and Planning for Human Services; state School to Work Council former chair of the Program Review Committee for the state Education Department; former vice chairperson and treasurer for the New York Association of Training and Employment Professionals; and former president of the Jamestown Rotary Club. She has a graduate certification from the Case Western Reserve University of Cleveland, Ohio. She also has a bachelors of sociology and a masters of rehabilitation counseling from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, as well as a Masters of Public and Environmental Affairs from Indiana University in South Bend, Ind
