Volunteer as a translator for clients!
As a VITA volunteer, you will prepare tax returns for low-income clients using IRS E-File software.
TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION ARE PROVIDED!

Volunteer to help low-wage, working families and individuals keep more of what they earn.
Volunteers have helped return more than $16 million in tax refunds to Chautauqua County over the last 7 years.
Last year, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program in Chautauqua County generated more than $2.1 million in tax returns for 2, 100 individuals and 1,550 households.
Volunteers prepared taxes, assisted with intake information, and provided site coordination - logging more than 3,500 hours of service to the community.
