United Way of Southern Chautauqua County Pacesetters Are Ready to Win

United Way of Southern Chautauqua County along with a dozen representatives from local companies and organizations came together to kick off the Pacesetter portion of the 2018 Campaign at the Wegmans Patio.

Kurt Eimiller of Slone Melhuish Insurance is serving as the 2018 Campaign Chair because of his desire to make a difference in Southern Chautauqua County. “After being a midget football coach and understanding the need and importance of stepping up and stepping in to make a positive change in our community, I am honored to be amongst all of you to kick off this Pacesetter campaign here at Wegmans.” Stated Eimiller. “We are the game changers and I’m excited to continue our mission to fight and make a positive impact for our future.”

The Pacesetters discussed ideas about how to keep their workplace campaigns strong and engaging. “As always, we are focused on helping donors understand that their investment in United Way makes a measurable impact in four priority areas - helping families become self-sufficient, making sure everyone is ready to work, encouraging young people to succeed in school, and connecting people in need with help.” said Amy Rohler, Executive Director.

Pacesetters run campaigns during the month of August and report their results in advance of the official Campaign Kickoff on September 6, 2018.
