Officially kicking off the campaign in September, United Way of Southern Chautauqua County was able to kick up the goal thermometer a notch, due to increasing their reach to 20%.
“It’s incredibly exciting to be able to do this for the first time of the 2018 Campaign. Our teams are working diligently in our community and we can’t wait to reach our goal”, states Amy Rohler, Executive Director. “We still need the community to pull together to make this all happen and I’m confident, we will.”
United Way of Southern Chautauqua County seeks to raise more than $1.3 million to invest in 39 programs that align with four priorities: ensuring that families are self-sufficient, everyone is ready to work, young people succeed in school, and those in need can find help. A collective effort by a strong team of dedicated volunteers, staff and community leaders have banned together to fight to reach this goal.
