When you give to United Way of Southern Chautauqua County, you can be sure that your contribution is used where it is needed most, by programs that make a genuine difference in our community. 100% of your gift will stay here in our community to do the most good for the greatest number of people.

Because United Way is governed by a local Board of Directors, there is a rigorous, local review process for allocating United Way funds. United Way volunteers annually review how contributions are distributed, building accountability into each funded program.

When you are ready to give to United Way, you can make a contribution online, or print a pledge card to fill out and mail to United Way of Southern Chautauqua County, 413 North Main Street, Jamestown.

Gifts to United Way are tax deductible.  The Internal Revenue System has published a booklet about documentation required to deduct your charitable contributions.  You can review or download the booklet here.
