How to Find Funding Locally |

United Way Funding United Way of Southern Chautauqua County operates on a two-year funding cycle. During even-numbered years we accept applications from new organizations. During the odd-numbered years, we do a review of the funded programs to make sure they are using United Way funds appropriately and are producing results for the people they serve. Organizations applying must meet our Fund Distribution Guidelines and, if funded, must adhere to our Affiliation Agreement. All United Way funding decisions are approved by our Board of Directors, following rigorous review by volunteer allocation panels and a recommendation from an allocation committee. The United Way is currently accepting funding applications until February 15. Applications are available in Microsoft Word, or Microsoft Excel format. Instructions are also available. For more information, you can contact the United Way at 483-1561. You may also want to contact the United Way of Northern Chautauqua County about its funding opportunities. Local Foundation Funding Many local foundations now offer a common online grant application process. You can find more information about the foundations listed below through the Chautauqua Grants web site. Not all accept the common application.
