The New York State Governor's Traffic Safety Committee coordinates traffic safety activities in the state. The Committee acts as the state's official liaison with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and works closely with a network of state and local agencies, non-profit organizations and private-sector partners to deliver quality traffic safety information, projects and services across the state.

Partners for Child Passenger Safety has created this site to increase awareness about appropriate and correct use of child restraints and seat belts in motor vehicles. The site offers online videos with information on installing and using child safety seats and seat belt use for older children, quick tips to help review information, and links to other online resources.
