Campaign Co-Chairs Lorraine Digs and Tim Grace have announced that this year's United Way Campaign goal is $1.3 million dollars! “We know this is a huge amount,” Diggs said, “but we also know how huge the hearts are in this community. I know that with all of us pitching in, we can reach and even surpass our goal. Thousands of families in this area depend on this funding, and I know that by working together, we can achieve almost anything." Tim Grace added, “What will make this campaign a success will be the selfless service of our volunteers, the selfless giving of this community, and the selfless efforts of us all. Together, we will not only reach our goal, but also make a difference in the lives of so many." The 2011 Pacesetters Kickoff served as a catalyst to this year's campaign. Pacesetter Co-Chairs Liz Lingenfelter and Lisa Goodell welcomed 20 local businesses and organizations for the kickoff event July 15th. Those pacesetters hope to raise 10% of the overall goal by September when the General Campaign begins. Donations can be made to United Way at any time and can be sent to United Way of Southern Chautauqua County, 413 North Main Street, Jamestown. Or you can give online through United Way's secure credit processing system.
