Allegheny Highlands Boy Scouts Council

The Boy Scouts provides programming for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness. The United Way provides the Boy Scouts with $20,000 to support Youth Scouting Programs. Youth Scouting Programs aim to promote success in academics by providing age appropriate activities for boys ages 7-10 in Cub Scouts, and for boys ages 11-17 in Boy Scouts. Youth Scouting Programs also include the Venturing and Exploring programs, which help boys and girls explore future career fields.
